We had a record-breaking year at the recent Gold Key Awards, winning three Gold Key Awards, four Silver Key Awards, as well as Best in Show and Best Strategy. BMA Colorado, the local chapter of the Business Marketing Association, announced the winners on May 5 at the Gold Key Awards Gala in Denver. 90octane and client team members were there to celebrate our winning collaborations on programs for Gates Corporation, RES and Johns Manville.
We owe this recognition not only to the smarts and creative chops of our 90octane team members, but also to the innovative and visionary clients whose goals, leadership, trust and partnership make the work possible. We are grateful to them and to the BMA, and we’re inspired to take our work to the next level over the coming year.
Best of Show & Best Strategy
RES: Under the Hoodie Account-Based Marketing Campaign
This unique campaign for RES, a desktop management software company, targeted 34 teaching hospitals that were prospective clients for a cybersecurity solution. The goal was to establish RES as a trusted thought leader and enable RES sales representatives to accelerate leads through the purchase process.
We built the campaign around the concept of a foreboding hacker, reaching prospect decision-makers through targeted media and customized invitations to a complementary consultation with an ethical hacker to assess their organization’s vulnerabilities. The custom invitation kits each featured a wooden box containing a personalized brochure introducing RES and our offer of a meeting with an ethical hacker, a personalized URL for registering, and a burner phone that required them to call RES to receive a 4-digit code to complete their registration.
