Doing great work with our clients is gratifying. Earning recognition for that work doesn’t hurt either.
“Time Well Spent,” the Key Account Cultivation campaign we created with our client Authorize.Net, a Visa solution, has been honored in the B2 Awards as the Best New Product Launch/Relaunch. Run by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA,) the B2 Awards recognize excellence in marketing by agencies, brands and suppliers in the B2B space. Winners were announced at the Masters of B2B Marketing Conference in Chicago on June 6.
This honor comes on the heels of winning several BMA Gold Key awards for work we did last year with our client CyberSource, also a Visa subsidiary. We’re humbled and grateful for the opportunity to work with both clients, and we look forward to doing more cutting-edge programs with them this year.
Authorize.Net: Time Well Spent
To create a fresh dialogue with customers in order to upsell a new product—and increase revenue during the fiscal year.
The problem? Before merchants could take advantage of the benefits of Account Updater, which automatically updates customer credit card information for supported cards, we had to convince them to activate products they currently had but weren’t using.
We needed to explain to merchants that using Account Updater would help save them time, allowing them to spend more time fulfilling their dreams.
Our campaign concept was “Time Well Spent.” It harkens to the Authorize.Net brand purpose, “to help merchants build their dreams by streamlining how they realize revenue.” So, Authorize.Net exists to help small businesses succeed—and they can provide a small business with one of the most precious resources available…time.
Time to focus. Time to do what they love. Time to grow their skills, their perspective and their business. And, we explained why it was worth their time to sign up for Account Updater—so ultimately, they could spend their time growing their business.

To drive customer conversions and revenue, we created an integrated touchpoint strategy, a marketing automation program and several email tracks strategically offering them content in various stages of the sales funnel. The campaign’s success relied heavily on well-researched and compelling assets that powered an interconnected digital ecosystem, with targeted display banners, social ads and emails serving up progressively more relevant offers.
